THE STITCH&GROW GUIDE
Five details that make a baby gift feel thoughtfully chosen.
For a friend’s baby shower, a new grandchild, or your own little one: a practical guide to making the choice personal.
1. Start with the name
Personalization is the detail that makes a familiar gift feel specific to one little person. Confirm the spelling with the parents before ordering, especially if the name has more than one accepted spelling.
2. Choose for their taste
Look at the colours the family already loves. A quiet neutral, soft pink or gentle green can each feel thoughtful for different reasons. Choose from the current product options rather than assuming a colour in a lifestyle photo is an exact swatch.
3. Look closely at the finish
Zoom into the product photographs. Look for the embroidered lettering, visible knitted texture and ribbed edge. These details tell you more than a broad promise of “premium quality.”
4. Check the practical details
5. Leave room for the occasion
A personalized gift is worth planning ahead. If the shower is approaching, ask about timing before you order. The thoughtful part is choosing something for them—not rushing into an arrival promise nobody has confirmed.

Choose your blanket, font and thread
Follow these three steps for each baby. Blanket colour is the fabric. Thread colour is the embroidered writing.
1. Blanket colour
Choose the colour of the knitted blanket.
2. Font
Choose a font name and number, for example Cursive Font 4.
3. Thread colour
Choose the colour of the writing. Use the supplier name and number, for example White #1.
These redesigned images are visual guides. On-screen colours and font renderings may vary. We fulfil your order using the supplier colour name, number and font choice.
Then type the baby’s name exactly as you want it stitched. Check the spelling before adding your blanket to the cart.
Real blanket and stitching examples
Read each photo in this order: blanket colour → font → thread colour. Use the same names and numbers when personalizing your blanket.
Recreate an example: Cream blanket → Cursive Font 4 → Lavender thread #17.
The photos show actual supplier stitching. Lighting and screens can change how colours appear. The “Green” fabric in the Kha’Taya example corresponds to our Olive Green choice.
